Bullet Journaling Pro Tips

bullet_journal.jpeg

For our September Pro-Tips we’re mixing it up with something a little different. We’re bringing in Sanda Gibson, PhD, LPCC-s, to work us thru the basics of Bullet Journaling and will show you how to go from passenger to pilot of your life through intentional living. A bullet journal or BUJO for short, is an organizational system that helps you keep track of everything in your busy life. It's a life hack - a physical place to store everything you need to do, give attention to, or remember. Space will be limited to this FREE event, so make sure to RSVP to save your spot at the table.

Sanda, who facilitates a support group at Denison University for students who struggle with learning disabilities, started a BUJO in January to investigate if this would be a good tool for her students. Now she is a BUJO enthusiast and is managing her own life more efficiently and creatively. Sanda will share how she got started and share her personal tips, pitfalls, and suggestions if you would like to explore the BUJO world.

The BUJO creator, Ryder Carroll, was diagnosed with learning disabilities early in life. He was forced to figure out alternate ways to be focused and productive. He had no idea that he would start a productivity craze. But how does one wade through the all the information, blogs, articles, and social media posts?

On the Second Tuesday of each month, we take a look at marketing and techniques for small business and dig in hands-on! Learn to use tools to begin promoting your business in a relevant, effective way, that also works for you and your abilities.

Brought to you in collaboration with the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Creatively COOPed

We invite our ordinary neighbors to tell their extraordinary stories. People connect and communities strengthen their ties over a good story. This event is about members of our community telling stories to one another in order to foster understanding, empathy, and connection. We want both the storytellers and the audience to be touched by an honest and real experience.

The creative COOP plays host to a curated group of storytellers - Tom Carroll, Linda Habig and the Wind & Wood Players, Rese Jhordan, and Kristen Snyder - who will tell their story as it relates to a specific topic. For this initial event the topic will be “How music has been part of my life”.

Join us for heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and live music performed by Tom Carroll before the storytelling begins!

Suggested donation is $20 per person. The creative COOP (Creative Coworking of Licking County) is a 501 (c) 3 and all donations are tax deductible.
